This lovely little Rocky Mountain Juniper, Juniperus scopulorum, was collected in 2006 and later planted into the final pot IMMEDIATELY. In September 2009 the tree was styled for the first time. This one has a grand future, I think.
Walter Pall's main blog about bonsai and his work with trees from day to day. Lots of good pictures of good trees and lots of valuable information about bonsai.

shohin larch and Japanese black pine
Two new acquisitions from a trade. Both shohin size, smaller than 25 cm, 10 inches.
They have both been neglected and were now styled in a rough, sketchy way. It is not important how they look now. All that was done was to bring them one step further. They will shine in a couple of years though.
